The end of a long week is here and with our wonderful weather, we should be seeing tourists out and about.  This Sunday is Mother’s Day and if you’d like something more than breakfast or brunch, the Lighthouse Restaurant is offering brunch and an Arts and Crafts Fair: “Hi kiddo. Could you put something out on your site reminding people of the upcoming Gift, Art and Crafters Guild Show on May 9th Mothers Day please. It will be held at The Lighthouse Restaurant. Hours are from 10:00 AM to 3: PM. Hand picked top artists and crafters will be there to present their creations.  Word it anyway you’d like that sounds good. The last show on April 11th at The Lighthouse was a huge success.” I had already mentioned this at the beginning of the week, but I believe they are going to be serving free champaigne with your brunch.  Beach photos by Anita Net.

This sounds really good this morning – a spinach and mushroom omelet – and you can order it on Mother’s Day at Baja Java and receive free mimosas made with fresh squeezed orange juice.  Wish I could be there but on Monday, we leave to go to Disney Land and what a treat.  My buddy Sybil, who lives in Newport Beach and comes to San Felipe a few times a year, is meeting us at the park.  After a day at Disney Land, we’re going to go for dinner at her and Pierre’s house.  This will be Khye’s first trip to see Mickey Mouse in person.  This is a photo taken by Cory Dudley of a small Rattler and a bird in his yard.
