Good morning San Felipe.  It’s going to be another “warm” day in San Felipe and an even warmer day in El Centro.  What a shock getting off the plane dressed in three sweaters.  It was nice for about five minutes.  I told you I would post the photos of Mike’s Sky Ranch that Shawnee and Bill took.  For those of you who don’t know where it is – you drive as if you’re going to Ensenada (at the soldier stop) and there will be a sign that says “Mike’s Sky Ranch” where you’ll turn left. On their way up to the ranch, they ran across wild horses.  Photos by Shawnee.

I am having a very hard time keeping a connection, so I will finish Sunday’s post when I return to San Felipe this afternoon.  If you’re in town or want to see me, I’ll be at La Plazita at 10:00 a.m. on Monday morning.  I’m going to Costco as soon as it opens (it doesn’t open until 10:00 a.m.) and Wallyworld for dog food, then I’ll be on the road to San Felipe.  Have a great Sunday.

A little note from MrRagtime: “The Boy Scout movement was started by Lord Baden Powell in Great Britain around 1907.  Worldwide membership is now enjoyed by more than 160 countries.   Mexico’s first affiliation was in 1920.  Although dwarfed by the United States’s four million members, Mexico now boasts over 30,000 youth members – but we have none in San Felipe.  Duty to God, Duty to others and Duty to self remain the movements prime goals.  The Boy Scouts creed is built around family values – expense is minimal.  Mexico’s colors are pale blue shirts, dark blue shorts, and multi colored bandanas.  Is there any reason why San Felipe isn’t part of this great institution?  Tom Bothwell – (46 yr. member)“.  Good question and I’ll talk to Martin Romo and see what he says.
