Good morning San Felipe. It’s going to be another “warm” day in San Felipe and an even warmer day in El Centro. What a shock getting off the plane dressed in three sweaters. It was nice for about five minutes. I told you I would post the photos of Mike’s Sky Ranch that Shawnee and Bill took. For those of you who don’t know where it is – you drive as if you’re going to Ensenada (at the soldier stop) and there will be a sign that says “Mike’s Sky Ranch” where you’ll turn left. On their way up to the ranch, they ran across wild horses. Photos by Shawnee.

Good morning San Felipe and it’s good to be back on the Korner. I have taken a much needed vacation from this appendage also known as my laptop but I am back in the saddle again, as they say. I am in Seattle or actually Snohomish at Lord Hill Stables and I’m flying back to Imperial tomorrow morning at 6:00 a.m. So, I hear the weather has changed and it’s nice and hot and I hope there’s lots of humidity as it makes the face puff up and appear wrinkle free. We actually had a nice hot day today and I laid by the pool for a bit while the Internet was down. They live out in the sticks so the Internet isn’t anything to write home about. It was rather strange not missing my laptop, which is normally on my lap or in front of me constantly. My daughter, Desiree’ and Khye drove back home this afternoon. Photo by Margy Craig.

I will be unable to post for the next four days, so you will have to miss Kat’s ramblings. I invite you to take a look at Classic Kat just to read what went on in the past and I apologize if I upset your schedule. I would like to wish Bill and Shawnee Boden a very happy anniversary. They’ve been married about 31 years! Here’s a great interview with Natasha James and San Felipe is mentioned in it, thank you very much Natasha. A very speedy recovery for Andrena Joyce’s son, Donna Roberts and MrRagtime’s best friend, Perro. Have a pleasant weekend and enjoy yourself where ever you are.
