Being an octogenarian has a few advantages but many pitfalls.  I no longer have the mobility necessary to check facts, locations, or work on many projects.  I must depend on memories and understanding readers.  One major advantage is that I have collected innumerable friends over the many years

I apologize for not having Wednesdays with Mr. Ragtime on today.  It may be that we ran out of stories, but I don’t know for sure.  So, to fill up the space, here’s the latest on Score, and Tom, I hope you’re not rolling over in your grave dear!

San Felipe needs a sailing club.  Hobie Cat International races are already held here each spring.  Mexico’s long range plan is to establish a series of ports up-and-down the Sea of Cortez.  They would be capable of handling cruise ships and private craft.  We have a new, well-sheltered marina; we have new slips and a fuel dock; we have good weather ………. all we need are a few boats.
